Reception in England this evening (July 28, 2011)

Here are some of the stations heard tonight in England with the Lowe HF225 and outdoor magnetic loop antenna. All times are UTC:

The strongest signal on the band tonight was the station testing with non-stop music on 1650. Music included several tracks from CCR and closedown came during Yello and 'The Race'

Carona was very strong indeed with a music programme, with equally good and powerful modulation

Nimmerzorg was coming through very well, better than a few days earlier

Good to hear Matrix on the band. The signal was generally fair, but peaking to good at some points. No problem at all to copy everything, and very good results for the low power

Noordzee and Kristal were as strong as ever. Many thanks for the greetings!
