Hello Dave,

Thank you very much for logging Radio Zeewolf.
Yesterday did I do some maintenance to my coil antenna in the mast.
We did some test with the analyser earlier this week and we discovered that the results were not that good as they have been before.
I decided to increase the distance between the mast and the bottom of the coil. It went from 10 to 30 cm.
After raising the mast again did I saw that my SWR was changed but I had no analyser to check the values but the SWR is now much better but the frequentcy is now 1660 for the best SWR.
I will lower the mast ones again later this week to correct that and adjust the antenna for 1647 kHZ.
Your report confirms to me that my Saterday work was meaningful and not for nothing.

As you mentioned, you made a recording , you made me very curious about it,
highly appreciated, , if you would take the time and trouble to send me a PB, or a mail, including that. - radio is a never -ending source of amazing things : one have to notice, my SWR, at That time was 1: 3.5 .....
Although I raised the power up to 75 Watts, instead of the regular 60, I got a lovely report from Sweden, and Finland the previous weekend !
