Propagation conditions continue to be quite unstable and signals during the late evening are often not so good, with strong Balkan and Greek stations coming through instead. However, reception of the Dutch pirates in the early morning has been very good recently.

On Sunday, Zonnester was blasting in, even listening on a portable receiver (Sony ICF2001D with indoor loop antenna). With the outdoor loop, the signal was even better. Interesting also to hear Sanussie on 1512 and Nova 4 on 1394, the first time we have heard that frequency being used by a pirate.

On Sunday evening, right at the end of his broadcast, Witte Raaf's signal came right up and was very strong, and it was the same for Professor Sickbok. Also coming in very well were Casablanca and Pandora, just the same as Saturday night when they booming in here

Interesting to have heard more low power activity recently - Bravo Sierra with just 12 watts was good, as was Relmus with around 20 watts

We have added some new names to our list during the past couple of weeks, hearing Bavaria, Zwarte Panter (Noord NL), Simplex, Silvia and Readymix for the first time
