Thursday was very busy on MW and here are the stations we heard using the Lowe HF225 and outdoor loop antenna. All times are UTC

It was an evening with lots of low power stations heard at this side of the North Sea. De Wittereus started things off with 50w, then Nacht Piraat (60w) with a report and Rode Ster (75w) with a programme. Meteoor (100w) was coming in with a very strong signal, while Witte Raaf (175w) was making it through with his best signal yet. Bravo Sierra was heard with just 20w once more, and reception was better after Rebel had closed down from his test. Korak was heard with a fair signal after Meteoor had closed down

There was also some higher power activity with Calipso, Spanningzoeker, Euromast and Moonlight received with the maximum 55555, while the very best audio of the evening came from Albatros, who was surrounded by other stations on 1635 but stood out very well with a superb sound quality, with much bass but no distortion
