Gehoord op vakantie in zuidwesten Engeland (Sep 11-14)

Hi everybody
This week we are on holiday by the sea in the south-west of England, which is 725 km in a straight line to Almelo. The receiver we have with us is the Sony ICF2001 together with a small indoor loop antenna. Reception has been good, and these are the stations we have heard:

It is very interesting to listen in a different location to usual, and I have been surprised at how good reception has been, even with just a portable receiver and small antenna. It was very interesting to hear Polkaman on Monday evening at this location, coming in well with just 35 watts of power - incredible!

On Tuesday Barones was very strong indeed, illuminating nine lights out of ten on the Sony. Also very strong was Technical Man, who also had superb and crystal clear modulation as usual. Good also to hear Melkbus coming through well with a nice, long music programme. A station I think was called Zeebee and Montecarlo were a constant 55555 while qsoing with Barcelona, Santana, Vrolijke Mijnwerker, Euromast, Romax and Albatros .

On Wednesday, Matrix was doing well with 100w, while Korenklopper, Monza, Vrolijke Mijnwerker and Barcelona were blasting through with huge signals.
