Reception in England on Monday night (September 5, 2011)

Here are the stations heard at our location in England on Monday evening using the Lowe HF225 and outdoor loop antenna. All times are UTC:

1645 2147 Columbia 44433-44444 qsoing
1645 2151 Spakenburg 54444 qsoing
1620 2241 Utopia 55444 testing audio
1664 2244 Amigo 44444 qsoing
1668 2248 Polkaman 23422 qsoing then music programme
1622 2312 Montecarlo 55544 qsoing
1631 2329 Soerabaya 23332-34443 qsoing and testing audio
1635 2339 Montecarlo 55555 qsoing

Barcelona was very strong on the band with a nice music programme and with loud audio as usual, which could be heard as high as 1650 kHz!

Utopia was testing his audio on 1620 with his powerful signal, but the quality on the sound was again not quite as usual

Montecarlo seemed to get a little stronger each time he came back, peaking at the magic 55555 for his final qso conversation on 1635

Soerabaya was having a few audio troubles to start with, but once the problem was sorted, the modulation sounded much better. And for about five minutes the signal was constantly good and perhaps the best he has ever been heard at our location - a steady 34443 and with around just 80w of power
