Reception in England on Sunday night (June 19, 2011)

Hi there!

Here are some of the stations heard tonight in England with the Lowe HF225 receiver and outdoor magnetic loop antenna. All times are UTC:

Napoleon and Witte Tornado were weak when first heard but got stronger and stronger as the evening went on. Towards the end of his broadcast, Napoleon was incredibly strong with very powerful modulation

Amigo was coming in nice and strong asking for a reception report

Colonia was an interesting one. I am not 100% sure of the ID, but that is what it sounded like during a QSO with Montecarlo

Montecarlo's signal was down a little bit on usual, but still no problem to copy

Utopia had a very strong signal as usual with nice quality audio

Vliegende Schotel had a very wide bandwith with excellent clear audio
