Thank you very much for the nice report and recording!
I just listened to the recording of Radio Derby that is on your website during diner and I am amazed how good his signal is at your QTH.
OK, he was strong here as well but he is not so strong as some other stations from the Hoogeveen area.
I told him that the audio quality was good but he hears some interference in his own studio. I did not hear it on my own radio and I can not hear it on your recording.
Yes, that is common that you hear strange noises in your own audio when you turn on the equipment after a long time.
Not all the cables are in the right place and positions.
Maybe the settings are not optimized, who can tell?
It was indeed great to hear these stations so now and then.
Further was is difficult to get a QSO that evening because of the many strong signals on the band.
Luckely did your recording make my day!
