Lots to listen to as usual, with some more new stations for us. Zanussi was heard over Christmas with long programmes on 1512 kHz and a strong signal. It was good to hear Centraal for the first time, along with Doris, who we heard qsoing with several other stations

There was plenty of activity on the first day of 2012, with programmes from lots of stations, including DB, who was active on 1657 for several hours and playing lots of music with a fine signal here in the UK. Barones was busy with another programme, one of many entertaining shows heard over the festive holiday, which were great to listen to

It is possible now to hear stations regularly during the morning. We have heard Blauwe Piraat several times with around only 100w, and a few days ago we heard Nova 4 at breakfast time

Low power stations also continue to do well when the propagation conditions are good. Stations using less than 100w that we have heard recently include: Orion West, Albatros, Blauwe Reiger, Studio Friesland, Ascona, Soerabaya, Rebel, Korak, and Leopard
