Busy night in England (Thursday, August 4, 2011)

Hi everybody! Lots of stations heard on this side of the North Sea again today. I was using the Lowe HF150 and HF225 and the usual outdoor loop antenna about 10m high. Here is what I heard, with all times UTC:

King of the MW tonight was Barones, with a super signal and programme as always!

There were some very good signals elsewhere on the band... Napoleon was excellent and good modulation with a nice programme after Barones had closed down...Kristal was very good indeed... Batavier was coming in loud and clear with his programme for the Pier clan on their camping holiday!... And there were some strong stations qsoing, particularly Professor Zickbok, Santana and Vriendschap

Great to hear some more low-power stations from Holland. Atletico had some interference from Kristal to start with, and later from Batavier, but he was coming through very well at times with 65w. Also heard here for the first time tonight was Albatros with 75w, first of all with music and later in a QSO with Studio Friesland, who was also doing a very good job with a fine signal

David, thank you very much. That's a beautifull signal over that distance because i also belong to that "low power" stations from 75 watts.

It was really a busy night and so many stations on air. Funny that many stations in the Netherlands couldn't receive us. Atletico and i tried for several times to give the Prof. Sikbok, Santana and the Vriendschap report but the didn't hear us.

But i'm very happy with the last signal from 44444. On the next (summer) meeting we will drink a beer on that.
