Dutch MW stations heard in England on Thursday (September 8)

Zeelandia started the evening off for us in England, with a very strong signal for a nice music programme. He was testing an inverted L antenna with 300w, which appeared to be working very well indeed

There was lots of low-power activity, with Meteoor busy on 1622 for several hours, firstly with a music programme and later for a qso. Running just 100w of power, the signal was very impressive. Also doing well with low power was Bravo Sierra (25w), Atletico (60w) and Polkaman, who was running 35w from a transistor transmitter

Albatros and Brandaris both had particularly good audio with a very warm and deep sound

Towards the end of the evening, Barcelona and Montecarlo were very strong during a qso, while Noordzee was weaker than usual
